Akselerometer yang ada di dalamnya memungkinkan auto rotasi pada tampilan layarnya. Sebuah radio penerima global positioning system (GPS), Wi-Fi dan kamera auto fokus mumpuni 3,2 megapixel yang menambah daftar panjang spesifikasi mumpuni HTC Touch Diamond.

Gadget andalan HTC ini diotaki processor terbaru Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 MHz yang didukung memory DDR SDRAM 192MB. Sebagai tambahan, penyimpan data sebesar 4GB sudah termasuk di dalamnya.

Tak hanya itu, pengguna juga dapat menikmati musik tanpa henti melalui FM radio dengan RDS. Kelengkapan konektivitas ada pada port mini USB dan Bluetooth 2.0 EDR.

Tampilan desktop sangat mengesankan terlihat pada navigasi sentuh pada setiap halaman web maupun hyperlink. Selain Wi-Fi, HTC Touch Diamond juga mampu mendeteksi jaringan GSM dual-band UMTS yang mendukukng HSDPA hingga 7,2 Mbps.

HTC Diamond yang diproduksi massal ini memiliki dua varian, yakni GSM tri-band untuk pasar Eropa dan dual-band untuk pasar Asia. Sedangkan keduanya juga dipasarkan di Amerika.
